What a week! The Monoline team just wrapped up an incredible California Road Show, and we’re back in the office feeling more inspired and energized than ever. From the sunny streets of LA to the beautiful coastlines of San Diego, we had the privilege of meeting with some of our amazing partner agencies, learning about their unique workflows, and gathering invaluable feedback on how we can continue to improve our products.

Day 1 & 2: Kicking Off in LA and San Diego

We began our journey in Los Angeles, where Janessa and Rachel kicked things off by visiting our cherished partner agencies. They started strong, spending time with Nimisha Bajaj at SeaCastle Insurance, Danny Cohen at Cohen & Company Insurance Services, Momentous Insurance, and The Liberty Company. With goodies in hand and curiosity in tow, they dove deep into understanding how our partners are using Monoline and what enhancements they’d like to see.

Day 3: A Productive Day of Onboarding and Connections

Midweek, we continued our journey, starting with a productive onboarding session with Andrea Berrios and Steve Rivera at The Liberty Company. From there, we met with Richard Bryant of E Broox Randall & Sons, where we gained even more insights into how our platform is making a difference in their day-to-day operations.

Meanwhile, Jerod and Ben were busy meeting with Premier One, Wood Gutmann & Bogart, and other key partners between San Diego and LA. These meetings provided a fantastic opportunity to dive deeper into the unique needs of each agency and discuss how Monoline can further streamline their processes. The conversations were rich with ideas, and we left feeling inspired by the dedication and innovation we witnessed at every stop.

Day 4: Wrapping Up and Reflecting

By the end of the week, it was time for a final visit with USI. After a full day of meetings, Rachel and Jan joined Ben and Jerod for a lovely dinner to share everything we’d learned during our time on the road. The discussions were lively, filled with ideas and inspiration sparked by the dedicated, hardworking agents we had the honor of meeting.

What We Learned

Throughout the week, one thing became abundantly clear: the Monoline platform is making a real difference. We were thrilled to hear that our online tool allows agents to place personal umbrella policies in half the time compared to traditional methods. This kind of feedback is exactly why we hit the road—to understand firsthand how our products are being used and how we can make them even better.

Grateful and Energized

As we settle back into the office, we’re feeling incredibly grateful for the warm hospitality and the wealth of knowledge we gained during our trip. Each visit deepened our understanding of how agencies work, and we’re returning home with a renewed commitment to refining and enhancing our platform based on your feedback.

Thank you, Southern California, for an amazing week! We’re recharged and ready to get to work on making our products even better, all thanks to you. We can’t wait to see where our next road show takes us, but one thing’s for sure—we’ll be back!

Selling Personal Umbrella as a Long-Tail Product

The Umbrella Conversation Series - Part IV: Selling Personal Umbrella as a Long-Tail Product: A Framing for Renewal and New Business Conversations

Because umbrella coverage responds to when an incident occurred rather than when a claim is filed, a policy can respond to lawsuits filed years after the original event. This makes umbrella policies a long-tail product where protection extends years beyond the policy period. This is how you can talk to clients about this.
