Last week was a fantastic one for Monoline! Ben Phillips and Jerod Blakestad had the pleasure of traveling to London to meet with our valued partners at Convex. The purpose of the trip was to connect with Convex’s underwriting team, and to present plans for exciting new products we’re rolling out in 2025. We’re thrilled to have received their initial approval and are eager to begin crafting these solutions to serve you even better.

Convex’s partnership means the world to us, especially given the current market. With other carriers stepping back from the personal umbrella space and offering fewer products, we’re pushing forward with innovation. Your feedback continues to guide us as we develop products that will empower you to better serve your clients, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to bring these ideas to life.

Of course, it wasn’t all business! Highlights of the trip included a round of golf, followed by a proper curry dinner at Ambassadors Clubhouse with the Convex team. Another memorable moment was Jerod's interview with The Reinsurance Podcast, where host Ben Rose asked great questions and sparked a lively and insightful conversation. We’re excited to share that episode with you as soon as it’s released!

Now that the jet lag is subsiding, we’re reflecting on everything we accomplished during what was truly one of our best trips to London to date. It was a whirlwind week of partner visits, great food, and building relationships. Reconnecting with trusted partners like Convex and making new connections inspired us and reinforced our commitment to driving progress in the months ahead.
