Celebrating Sergio Miranda: 2025 Living the Values Award Winner

At Monoline, our values aren’t something we only reference once a year, and they’re more than just words on a poster or website. They show up in how we work, how we treat each other, and how we build for our AEs and partners who trust us every day. 

That’s why the Living the Values award exists. Now in its second year, this award is given to a Monoline team member who exemplifies what we stand for: putting people first, bringing a positive presence, taking ownership with “batteries included,” and staying relentlessly curious about the pursuit of what comes next. 

This year, we’re proud to recognize Sergio Miranda, Monoline’s Lead Software Engineer, as our 2025 Living the Values Award Winner.

As a leader on our engineering team, Sergio plays a critical role in shaping the Monoline platform and the experience customers have with it. But what makes Sergio stand out goes far beyond his expertise. 

“I really enjoy the day-to-day challenge of building a platform that gives time back to our AEs,” Sergio shares. “To make that happen, we’re constantly studying new ways of doing things and exploring how we can leverage technology to deliver an outstanding product.”

His mindset—thoughtful, curious, and deeply customer-centered—shows up in everything Sergio does. He embraces experimentation, and is often one of the first to dive into new tools, and share them on the team Slack channel. He also approaches problems with ownership and care, always looking for solutions that don’t just work, but will work better and scale for the future of the platform.

Sergio also brings an unmistakable energy of positivity to the team. His infectious smile and calm, steady presence create an environment where collaboration feels easy and challenges feel solvable. Whether he’s guiding engineering decisions or supporting his teammates, Sergio consistently leads with positivity and empathy.

Sergio embodies the Monoline values in his daily life as well. He is very curious by nature, and outside of work, you’ll always find him reading about technology, new ideas, or anything that sparks his interest. That curiosity enriches him personally, fuels his growth, and helps push our product and team forward.
